Un día como hoy 16 de abril del año 1889 nace en Londres uno de los personajes más importantes del siglo XX, el que se convertiría en el rey del cine mudo y dejaría no solamente las películas más vistas de todos los tiempos sino también frases inmortales: Charlie Chaplin conocido también bajo el nombre de Charlot por el personaje que interpreto durante años no solamente fue actor, sino tambien director, humorista, guionista, compositor y editor.
