Cuando se está aprendiendo cualquier idioma la conjugación de los verbos es sumamente importante, de eso depende la correcta formación de cualquier oración, así que es una de las clases que no podrás dejar pasar mientras practicas el inglés, en este idioma, al igual que en el español existen verbos regulares e irregulares y ya en un post anterior hablamos sobre las conjugación de los verbos irregulares, hoy hablaremos un poco de los verbos regulares para completar esta clase.
Los verbos regulares son aquellos que se rigen por reglas definidas para su conjugación, esto quiere decir que para conjugarlos de manera correcta solo tienes que aprender las reglas, así que principalmente lo que tendrás que aprender son dichas reglas para su correcta conjugación.
Verbos regulares, cómo conjugarlos correctamente
Lo primero que haremos es explicarte brevemente en qué consistes las reglas de los verbos regulares en inglés:
- En inglés se pueden conjugar los verbos en diferentes modos, el indicativo, imperativo, participo e infinitivo.
- Otro aspecto que debes saber es que en el inglés, la conjugación de los verbos regulares es bastante sencilla, esto se debe a que no tiene una forma específica para cada uno de los tiempos verbales, lo único que cambia es que se le debe añadir el sufijo “ed” cuando se desea formar el participio o el pasado.
- También debes saber que a las palabras que terminan en una vocal corta seguida de una consonante, se debe duplicar la consonante final y luego agregar el sufijo “ed” para formar el participio pasado y el pasado, mientras que el participio presente se duplica la consonante final y luego se le agrega el sufijo “ing” y a la tercera persona del presente se la agrega “s”.
- Sobre los verbos que terminan en una consonante seguida con la vocal “e” solo se le agrega la “d” para formar el participio pasado y el pasado, En el participio presente se quita la letra “e” y se coloca el sufijo “ing” y con la tercera persona se le agrega la letra “s”.
- Sobre los verbos que terminan en sonidos siesantes, tales como: bless – bendecir, kiss – besar, entre otros, a la forma infinitiva se le agrega “ed”, para el participio pasado y el pasado, mientras que para el participio presente se le agrega “ing” y a la tercera persona el presente se le agrega “es”.
- Los verbos que terminan en “y”, se elimina la “y” y se reemplaza por “ied” para la forma infinitiva del pasado y el participio pasado, el participio presente es formado agregando el sufijo “ing” y la “y” es reemplazada por “ies” para formar la tercera persona del presente.
